St Tudy Community Shop

St Tudy Community Shop
St Tudy Community Shop was established through the hard work of  local fundraisers in 2011 when the village shop & post office closed, citing that the business was no longer viable.

The Community Shop has recently been crowned the winner of the South West of  England Award, as part of the rural Community Ownership Awards 2016, and the grant means that it can continue to prove award-winning service to the local community.
Open seven days a week, find out more about the shop here.

Applying for a Grant

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is open for funding applications twice a year.  The next round of applications will be open from 13th March to 13th April 2017.
Grants are awarded to activity which results in long-term positive action on rural communities.  This can include improving the viability of a family farm business; driving economic vibrancy in rural communities; and supporting areas in times of emergency, as well as building resilience to prevent issues in the future.
