Forecast: sun & fun
It looks like being dry and sunny for the 23rd Mid Devon Show this weekend at Tiverton, Devon. Head on down to Knightshayes Court for non-stop activities from 9am until 5.30pm, on Saturday the 23rd of July 2016.
Tickets will be available on the gate and are priced at £15 for an adult, and just £5 for children aged 5 to 16 years.
There are free bus services in operation from Tiverton, Crediton, Cullompton, and Tiverton Parkway Road. For more information about the pick-up points, and times, click here to go to the official Mid Devon Show page.
Parking in all car parks is free – but it is essential that you follow AA road signs, and not your satnav.
There is so much to see and do at the Mid Devon show this year. In the show ring, there will be a parade of hounds – including deer hounds, mink hounds, and beagle packs. Outside of the show ring, there is a classic car and motorbike parade. Look up, and you are sure to catch the daredevil riders of Jamie Squibb’s Motocross Stunt Show as they perform breath-taking stunts mid air.
As you might expect, the livestock exhibitions form the cornerstone of the event and judging begins at 9am, but Mid Devon Show incorporates so much more! Live music from a variety of acts; childrens activities including magic from Ozzy D; shopping for gifts & crafts, food and drink… with over 300 trade stands on site, there really is all the fun of the fair.
