Yealmpton Show – 27th July 2016
Always held on the last Wednesday in July, Yealmpton Show is one of the best on-day shows in the south west. There is always much to see throughout the show ground with horses, cattle, sheep and goats all on display, as well as the Countryside Marquee. A visit to the home-craft and horticultural areas is a must, as is the dog show and pet tent. In 2015 the food hall proved to be a huge success, promoting West Country suppliers from fish products to country meats, and dairy to cupcakes and fudge.
Gates are open at 8.30am and the event runs until 6pm.
